Laurent Descotils is a contemporary French sculptor. His kinetic sculptures are inspired by Tinguely, Rebecca Horn and Arthur Ganson. Descotils says he is vibrating from head to toe in front of the wild nature of a well-adjusted gear or a nicely taut belt. The freedom he gives his machines takes them together on new paths because the artist always works hand in hand with his creations.
