Il sole lambiva appena la damina
Che stava lì affacciata fuori la pensilina
con un ombrellino dalla luce si voleva riparare
ma il raggio di sole era troppo invitante per farselo scappare
Sotto le scale stava una suorina
Forse in preghiera e seduta sulla sua panchina
Sicuramente pensava al mondo e al suo futile destino
Imprecando in silenzio alla sua vita e al suo cammino
Un cammino irto di difficoltà e di prove da superare
Meglio mettersi qui a ogni tanto a immaginare
Di poter scegliere quale maschera sarebbe meglio indossare
Il poter scegliere quale maschera indossare a seconda dell’occasione che si presenta per superare le diverse prove che si troviamo sul nostro cammino. Esse possono anche essere banali ma vanno affrontate, e per farlo assumiamo atteggiamenti che ci permettono di andare avanti e superarli. Vediamo in primo piano la maschera del coniglio indossata da una ragazza che vuole nascondere la sua vera identità (fragile guardando i fiori che tiene tra le mani e sul capo) con un abbigliamento stravagante e sicuro… dietro la sua maschera. Si veste di bellezza e delicatezza (damina) e si veste di preghiera e di riflessione (suorina)

Laura Muolo, a contemporary Italian artist, was born in Milan in 1975. At the age of 19, she relocated to Rimini, where she continues to reside today. It was in Rimini that her artistic talent blossomed and matured.
From a young age, Laura felt drawn to drawing and comics, using them as a means to tell her stories. However, she set aside this passion for many years to pursue other endeavors.
In 2013, at the age of 37, Laura rediscovered her love for drawing. It began with creating a portrait as a gift for a friend, reigniting her passion for the art form. From that moment on, she never looked back.

Initially self-taught, she realized that to turn her passion into a profession, she needed to deepen her understanding of painting techniques. Through her short yet intense artistic journey, Laura found her distinctive style, unbound by academic conventions but fueled by boundless creativity. With numerous exhibitions and awards to her name, she continues to push the boundaries of expression, constantly seeking new means of creative exploration and multi-material experimentation.
