Laura Fiume è una pittrice contemporanea con esperienza nel campo del design, della pittura, della grafica e della ceramica. Le sue fonti di ispirazione provengono dal mondo del Design e da quello degli animali. Le sue opere sono realizzate su diversi tessuti per l’arredamento che hanno la funzione di rendere tattile l’opera, mettendo in risalto la materia di una poltrona, di una sciarpa, di un cuscino, di una borsa.
La trama dei diversi tessuti permette di evidenziare le materie e le trasparenze degli oggetti che arredano le stanze e la personalità del cane o del gatto di volta in volta scelto per essere inserito nelle opere come beniamino della casa.
Non vi sono mai presenze umane ma solo tracce del loro passaggio che raccontano le storie di chi abita le stanze e le anima della propria presenza anche quando non c’è.
