The painting is a tribute to the Supreme Poet Dante Alighieri. 2021 marks the 700th anniversary of death and celebrating his message is today more than ever full of meaning. "The silence of the Angels" is inspired by the Divine Comedy, in particular by Paradise. The painting wants to convey those "lights" and "darkness" that are present throughout the work of the Supreme Poet. The work, an abstract painting on canvas, is made with oil, acrylics, pigments, enamels. The finish is very shiny, almost reflective. That same "light" so important for the great Italian scholar.
