Koshmak

Hi! My name is Kateryna Oshchepkova. I am a doll artist. I’m originally from Ukraine and based in Berlin. Dolls are a way of expressing myself, my feelings, and my surroundings, I try to convey life as I see it.
Koshmak is the surname of my great-grandfather, who originally was from Kyiv. When my grandpa was a child, he was adopted by Soviet General Oshchepkov, so now I bear this surname. Making dolls under the name Koshmak, I want to honor the memory of my ancestors.
Of course, now all my thoughts are with my motherland because of the Russian invasion. I am trying to do my best for Ukraine's win.
I would be glad to share my aesthetic with you.
