Название работы - Необыкновенный Ямал. На картине изображен не снег, как обычно думают люди, никогда не бывавшие в наших краях. Это - наш знаменитый белый песок. Ведь на Ямале , практически нет почвы. Деревья и травы растут на песке, поверх которого местами присутствует 3-5 см почвы. Остальное - песок, в основном - белый, но бывает жёлтый, красный. 2-3 метра песка, а дальше - лёд, толщиной 300-500 метров - вечная мерзлота - остатки древнего оледенения планеты. Местами у нас - пески, местами - трава, а местами - белый мох - ягель. Ягель - деликатес оленей. Вот такой наш Необыкновенный Ямал )
