Memoirs of the author: “I remember how I painted this picture in nature. I was impressed by the colors of the sky and the sea. The sun was setting quickly and I only had 15 minutes to paint this landscape. I was very cold, because I was painting on the street and it was winter and evening. It got dark very quickly and I soon ran home to warm up .. "
