Cosé's goal was to achieve the features of a bull's head starting from a geometric sheet of zinc, as Cosé sees geometry in every shape in nature. In fact that's why the work is called Sculpted Triangle / Bull's Head.
The piece is unique and an absolute one of a kind for the type of technique that Cosé uses, like folding, hammering and twisting the material.
Cosé used sheet zinc for its typical old and mat finish and its great manageable characteristics. He began with making precise cuts in the zinc piece and then started shaping intuitively, with various hammers on blunt steel and in hard wood, to finally obtain these wonderful and delicate shapes.
