The prints in this portfolio or “gallery” are studies I made of two orchids where I have captured existing light either from an overall impact as in noon day or even a northern exposure to morning sunlight or a late day sun-setting light.
These images capture and study light as well as shape and texture of the orchids.
My goal is to study other orchid species. They are inherently fascinating and with interesting natural light are likely to produce stunning photographic studies.
First edition, 2017, prints are made on Hahnemuhle etching paper.
