This version, 251a4x6 is offered as as both a limited edition of 5 prints, signed, numbered and dated on the reverse, and as an open (unsigned edition).

Because this version exists as both a limited edition (see additional entry this gallery) and as an open edition (this image), the limited edition pricing is significantly less than a limited edition work of the same size for which no open edition prints are offered

Ken Lerner is a passionate photographic artist, born into a family of renowned photographers in 1947. He began taking photos at the age of 6, using a camera given to him by his father. But he was not interested in simply reproducing real life moments. His vision was more subjective and he sought to project an internal reality of that moment.

At the beginning of his career, he almost exclusively created images with multiple exposures. This gave a complex structure to the images and represented a subjective view of the world. In the 2010s, after working in financial product sales, he returned to photography producing only single exposure images. Even though they were less structurally complex, they still represented a subjective view of the world, being almost totally abstract. Ken works extensively with reflective surfaces such as water, glass and metal.

A lover of the beauty of nature, Ken Lerner paints and photographs a lot of landscapes and seascapes. He is interested in presenting different possibilities of representing "nature" and often produces many variations of an image with different colors, shades, contrasts and saturations.
