BIRD OF PREY (2008) Painting by Ken Beckles

I am an abstract painter and an accomplished photographer. I started out in photography and then expanded my art to abstract painting. I work in both mediums which keep my ideas fresh but most of my current work is painting. I mix my own colors which seems to separate my work from the work of other artists. I work in canvas, wood and plexiglass meaning the early works were on canvas and then I progressed to wood and now I am currently working on Plexiglass. My work has evolved over the years and it has gotten more advanced and more detailed but the foundation is there are the sense of color and dynamics permeates all of my work. There is no one on this planet that paints like I do!!! Maybe on mars?
