" It has bothered me all my life that I do not paint like everybody else" - Henri Matisse
"I want to not only offer a message with my art but to draw the viewer into the heart and soul of the piece. With textures, colors, movements and a variety of materials the journey begins. I will feel that I have succeeded in this task as an artist when the person viewing the art starts to think of the meaning whether subtle or loud and the viewer has now traveled into the art and the art has touched their soul even ever so briefly."
