Kurt This was a photo looking at me from my desktop for a while. Cool, still, with power and calmness. Especially its eyes were as cool as ice. Kurt means wolf in Turkish. There is an important legend about wolves in Turks. That's why I wanted to give that feeling. I had enjoyed a lot trying to give to the eyes the feeling of power and calmness.

Born in Istanbul,1962. I'm living in a village for 25 years. I'm retired and still working 3 days of week as the cleaner of the barn.

I have 2 daughters, they like painting.  A few weeks ago, when I was planning to decorate a room for them as a home-studio,  suddenly I started painting!

Buying some brushs and paints every month little by little I'm filling the studio.

Videos, online courses ,etc. I will become a self-taught artist after 10 years of experience but not now.

Every question about art is interesting for me because I want to see the real path of art and I want to filter the important from unnecessary.

For example "What is art?

Change the perspective on how a subject has been seen, up until that point in time, and you have made art. This is why an artists view of the world is so important. Good artists can see the world the way few others can. Great artists can capture and communicate their unique vision the best. So an artist is someone who reveals a unique perspective on a subject. This means a real artist must have both a subject and a unique view on it to make a piece of art. Without either of these two things he can not make art.

The question is "What qualifies as a painting?"

Once you get the real purpose and definition of art clear in your head you can never go back.

Art is a feeling which connects hearts, it's a medium to express yourself and your feelings. Now coming to the point when art is not art, it depends on your own definition of art and likings, because it's not always necessary that every creator gets appreciation, because our taste buds always takes time to get used to a different flavour and so is to art. And as long as you are convinced with your creation and you feel it makes sense it remains art or at least an attempt to art.
