Born in Besançon in 1982, Julie DALLOZ took her first painting lessons at the age of 4. Throughout the many moves that scoured her childhood, painting and drawing were the elements of stability that helped her adapt emotionally.
Julie creates paintings sculptures in relief by working with textiles and clay. These two materials combined together give birth to flowers, more or less open and which are assembled one by one on canvas, wood, plexiglass... thus forming real landscapes, symbols of new perspectives that life offers us. #039;explore.
Working with color is a key element in Julie's representation of the world, a universe of a thousand shades and dazzling hues that celebrate the beauty of life, nature and the living. Julie is committed to enhancing materials that have already lived, a way for her to respond to the systems of selection, competition and obsolescence organized by current systems.
For 10 years, she was expatriated in Dubai and London where she also produced murals for private and public spaces and developed artistic programs for different communities. She is now based on the Côte d'Azur again and will be happy to get to know you and explain her approach to you more!
