José Miguel Oliveira, passionate photographer, began his artistic journey at the age of 18. After attending the Instituto Português de Fotografia, he quickly found his calling in the field of photography. A few years later, he was a photographer reporter for a renowned sports newspaper, the O Jogo newspaper.
After a break in his career, José Miguel returned with strength and determination. He has edited two notable photography books: “Na curva do tempo - fotopoemas” and “De regresso, a worryação - fotopoemas”, demonstrating his ability to fuse photography with poetry to create unique and moving works.
In addition to his passion for photography, José Miguel is also an educational psychologist, trainer and writer. His expertise in the field of psychology enriches his artistic vision, allowing him to capture moments and emotions with particular depth and sensitivity.
José Miguel Oliveira lives and works in Alhos Vedros, Portugal. Born in 1966, he continues to explore the infinite possibilities of photographic art while sharing his knowledge and experience through his writings and training. His work demonstrates an inexhaustible passion for creativity and a commitment to authentic artistic expression.
