REGARD SUR LE MONDE
Eric Berthomé, known as JOKS, is a French graffiti artist. As the president of the R STREET association, he leverages his artistic prowess to adorn the walls of Les Sables d'Olonne, his hometown, as well as locations throughout France and abroad. Passionate about sharing and continuous learning, JOKS is an active participant in two graffiti collectives, contributing to the vibrant street art community.
In addition to his local contributions, JOKS is a sought-after artist, regularly invited to major events across France. Notably, he organizes "LES PIEDSDans L’EAU" in Les Sables D’Olonne, a significant street art event that attracts more than 50 painters to collaborate on a 500-meter fresco directly on the beach within two days.
A trailblazer in promoting street arts, JOKS initiated the LES R DE LA RUE festival in Vendée, which has been showcasing street arts since 2014. This festival serves as a platform for artists to display their talents and contribute to the thriving street art scene.
When not outdoors transforming urban spaces, JOKS retreats to his workshop during less sunny days, dedicating his time to creating paintings on canvas and various supports.
