This painting was commissioned as a present for a wedding in 2021.

An affectionate touch is a special kind of touch; one that reflects general friendship, warmth, and intimacy. This type of touch is primarily used to show affection, rather than to give comfort, show appreciation, or congratulate someone.

An affectionate touch, such as hugging, holding hands, kissing, or cuddling, is a way of expressing fondness, love, and support in an intimate relationship. It promotes intimacy, enhances positive affect, and signals a desire for closeness.

Discover John DutchArt

John DutchArt paints modern colourful abstract paintings. The contemporary artist, living in Eindhoven, likes to use different materials and combines various painting techniques in his works of art. You can see this in many of his paintings, for example through structures and contours applied to the canvas, creating beautiful 3D effects.

In his artworks, John DutchArt likes to work with colours that flow smoothly into each other, topped with lively and dynamic lines or shapes in complementary colours. His paintings are almost always built up in layers, sometimes up to 8 layers to create the right effect in varying light under different angles.

John started off as an autodidact in his youth. Many hours of painting since and guidance from local and international artists have led to the creation of works of great quality.  He is a Gold member of NABK (National Association for Visual Artists) and part of the art materials test panel of JaKunst and regularly takes part in art fairs such as Art Eindhoven and Nationale Kunstdagen.
Next to his own gallery in Eindhoven, since 2021 his art is also shown in the showroom of Pure Sit in Venlo. In the stylishly furnished showroom, approximately 30 modern, luxurious living room furnishings are on display. In combination with the modern abstract paintings of John DutchArt.

The artworks of John DutchArt have found their way to many art collectors all over the world. His thesis is that art that appeals to you, also says something about you. The art that hangs on your wall is part of who you are, what you are looking for in art and what you want to state to your visitors or colleague.

Or the way John says it: My art relates to you; it is your Statement Art.
