Le Cap Sicié et les Deux-Frères vus depuis la plage de St. Asile à St. Mandrier
Le massif du Cap-Sicié, fait partie des Monts toulonnais. Il est situé entre les communes de La Seyne-sur-Mer et Six-Fours-les-Plages et constitue l'un des points le plus au sud de la région PACA (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur).
Les "Deux Frères" sont les deux rochers qui marquent son passage.
Une légende raconte que deux frères amoureux de la même sirène s'y seraient entretués et le Dieu Poséidon, (dieu grec de la mer), les auraient pétrifiés...
C'est sans doute une galéjade du temps où nous étions grecs et que l'on se nommait ici : Tauroeïs, voire Tauroentium...
