Créé en 1903, initialement au Petit Palais à Paris, le Salon d'automne est un salon international d'art qui s'est imposé comme acteur et témoin essentiel de l'émergence des plus importants mouvements artistiques du 20ème siècle (Fauvisme, Surréalisme, Cubismes, Art abstrait, Nouvelle Figuration, Art Singulier etc ...).

Le Salon d'Automne est promoteur de tous les arts et a accueilli parmi les plus grands noms de la peinture moderne (de Cézanne à Picasso en passant par Dali et Zao Wou Ki pour ne citer qu'eux) mais aussi Antonio Manfredi (2014) et Moebius (2015).

Maillol, Rodin, Camille Claudel, Bourdelle et Ousmane Sow (2016) y ont présenté leurs sculptures, tout comme Debussy, Ravel ou Didier Lockwood leur musique ou Apollinaire et Aragon leur poésie.

C'est un honneur pour moi de participer à ce prestigieux salon, avec des membres de l'Association Horizon Paris 8ème Art.
