Jean-Christophe Mandelli is an artist photographer practicing digital painting. The stylus replaces the traditional brush, the canvas is the graphics tablet. There is no image without the gesture and it is the reflection that determines the final choices.
Addressing particularly the themes of portraiture, scenes of life and still lifes, his work is distinguished by a new and colorful lighting.
Jean-Christophe Mandelli was born in Paris. He began photography at the age of 16, then quickly, he had his own black and white silver laboratory. Around 2005, he went digital, experimenting with new development techniques, his photos gradually took on color. His work is present in many private collections.
