I have experiences in many artistic practices with an MFA in Sculpture from Ohio University and a BA from Goddard College. As a resident Artist at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Art I created a large body of work that consists of Abstract paintings and cement sculpture that evolves thrrough time with natural reaction, salt growth and moss formation. In addition I have worked diligently creating wood products that range from abstract carvings, representational carvings, wood truning and monumental Bent wood sculpture. I was raised in central Florida but have spent my time in school between Vermont and Ohio. I am interested in all processes of art and in addition to the sculpture and painting I have gravitated to ceramics photography. I continue to make art from my home in Central Florida as I await the job lottery in higher ed.
