The present collection is full of color and sense. After the grief and depression that had overwhelmed me for a while due to the loss of my kidneys, which led to the creation of black and white and dark effects, I tried to bring my soul back to life. I started working with color and surface in an effort to maintain high spirits, happiness, and energy. I used handmade materials that I could use. Due to the limited space of the room, I could not use oil or acrylic paint or do a great job. So I contented myself with these things on Fabriano 500 g cardboard. I used layers of tissue paper as traces of paint and pen. I glued layers of quality Ecoline-painted napkins with liquid glue to achieve the visual effects of watercolor work.
The days of COVID19 and quarantine were spent with this technique and these works.
Worked by Tissues and glue on paper. It is a kind of collage on cardboard. Tissus layers worked like a thin layer of watercolor on paper and I can overlap several layers of tissue layer on paper to make a watercolor effect.

Jamaleddin Toomajnia is an Iranian-Turkmen-based artist, was born in 1981 at Gonbade Kavous. He graduated painting from Tehran University. Ph.D. candidate in History of Art at İstanbul Technical University. He worked as a research expert in the Academy of Art in Iran for five years at the same time he had an atelier in Tehran. He paints and researches folkloric and traditional arts in Turkmen tribes because he belongs to these people. After immigrating to Turkey in 2012 for continuing his education he continued his painting in his home-atelier and represents his works at online galleries such as Saatchi. After a while, he began to contribute to group exhibitions in Turkey and collaborate with the Appolon Art gallery in Istanbul.
