“ODEZA”
Comecei a interessar-me pela pintura em Setembro de 2011, depois de me retirar da minha actividade profissional, de décadas, como Cirurgião Geral .Li e experimentei. Experimentei técnicas várias, desde a aguarela ao óleo. Experimentei suportes desde o papel à madeira, à tela.
Escolhi a Pintura para tentar expressar os sentimentos da nova vida, sem molestar os outros.Inicialmente os trabalhos eram essencialmente figurativos:paisagem,animais,etc,depois surgiram alguns trabalhos com traços de simbolismo e, sem saber muito bem como nem porquê, outros com influências de expressionismo gestual.Li (e vi) muito sobre os Impressionistas, e também sobre Cézanne,Kandinsky ,Paul Klee,Matisse Picasso,etc.No final de 2018 fiz 2 cursos on line: "Activating The Canvas" e "Experimenting With Colour", através do site dirigido pela médica e artista Nancy Hillis, após o que enveredei por uma linha de abstraccionismo expressionista gestual.
