Aphrodite (2020) Sculpture by Jack Metal 06

Jacques Roucheray, alias Jack Metal 06, is a contemporary French sculptor. He started his artistic activity when he retired, as a simple hobby that quickly became a passion and a creative necessity.

He began collecting old cast iron rods in his garden and began welding and molding them. Jack Metal 06 takes on the creative and technical challenge of recycling outdated steel rebar by shaping, welding, and fashioning it. He wants to use his artworks to express his deepest feelings. He is shaped by the wrought iron he works with as much as it is shaped by him.
