When creating this painting, I wanted to express the feelings of people who are concerned about what is happening in the world. The image of the woman symbolizes the feelings of mothers who fear for their children, for their family. In her hands, a woman holds the most intimate thing she has - this is her family, her carefree world. A hand from outside, as if from a distance, also wants to protect her. The figure in the window is a symbol of bad news from outside.
Irina Gauss was born in a small Siberian town in 1978. After school, she graduated from the Faculty of Romano-Germanic Philology at the Kemerovo State University. After graduating from the university, she moved to Germany, to the city of Coburg, where she lives to this day. Аlways admiring nature, sunsets, sunrises, the sea, flowers, she wanted to learn how to convey the beauty she saw and began to take part in various oil and acrylic painting courses.
Irina Gauss is now a contemporary German artist. Through her art she tries to pass on her view of the world and the beauty of nature to other people. She often paints impressionistic and abstract "sun-kissed" mountains, "sun-drenched" seascapes, and beautiful flowers.
