Biography
Member of the Union of Arts
member of the International Association of Art - IAA AIAP UNESCO, painter, graphic artist.

After graduation in Industrial Design and post graduation in Theory of Design, Irene Vlassova started her professional career as designer and graphic artist but soon was also active as painter and jewel designer, worked in advertisement and printing arts and became the author of illustrations of many books. She taught Theory of Design at university level. She worked and works also in the field of decorative and applied arts.
During her career she had twenty personal exhibitions and she took part in more than eighty collective exhibitions. Her works are collected by museums and owned by private collectors. She is a member of the Union of Arts of Russia, member of the International Association of Art - IAA AIAP UNESCO. She now lives and works in Belgium.
"The main subject of my work is light and air, and their interaction in different forms and phenomena. I like to mix different realities (actuality and dreaming, past and future, visibility and essence etc.). I like to find wonders in an everyday occurrence.
As illustrator I work more with context than with text because I find it isn’t necessary to explain the text just read, but it is far more interesting to look for what is beyond the frame.
More than likely I'm a magic realist".

Једном је рекла:- ако си слободан, дођи! Волела бих да ти покажем Антверпен!
Тада сам био у Паризу, а она на прозору, одакле се гледа свет који воли!
Има великог црног мачка.
Чита Малог принца и не допушта да је зовем принцезом.
Сибирка!
Ириша Власова, сликарка и дизајнер која је освојила Европу.
Прича о баби, и дједушки, и ујаку Лењи.
Никога више нема.
Све су одували ратови и револуције, и она се прејела цивилизације.
-Живим њихове животе и настојим да не осрамотим презиме!
Живели су, каже, у малој соби, у касарни са неколико породица.
И њен први Бог био је деда.
Свирао руску хармонику, пун крви козачке, сашио јој прве панталоне.
Баба читала Некрасова, и она заволела генерала Топтигина.
Кад прича о мајци – затвори очи!
-Добро је певала и желела да буде глумица!
Била сањар, умела небо да помилује.
Ириша је то радила већ у четвртој години.
Са прозора, док је гледала како дим куља из топлотних цеви.
И одлази у облаке.
Тада је скупљала тродимензоналне слике у глави.
Није знала шта су димензије ни велики градови.
Поноси се глупостима које је у детињаству чинила.
-Све бих поновила, још луђе и лепше…!

Њене другарице су тада сањале принчеве, а она морнаре.
Хтела да постане – пират!
И учланила се у клуб “Младих морнара“.
Кад је дошла кући пред поноћ, исписали је.
Воли да лута!
Тако је и стигла на студије индустријског дизајна.
-Тамо сам нашла себе!
Ређале се изложбе, награде и похвале.
Скромна до непријатности!
Другује са песницима и људима који јој не ласкају.
Кад причамо о Русији, пита:-кад ћеш опет у Сибир?
Пише песме и шаље их пријатељима, уместо писама.
-Да би знао шта је Русија, мора се отићи у Сибир. То се тамо не учи, са тим се тамо рађа!- каже.
Воли да запева.
И волим да је слушам.
Чак и кад ћути!
