Polina dreamed of being a ballerina, but life turned out differently. The path to the world of professional ballet is open to few. Nevertheless, every day she works hard at the barre, putting on pointe shoes. And during these hours she is a real ballerina. The god of ballet transforms her. She is wonderful! Sometimes she poses for me.

Our world is filled with moments, various emotions, moods, and vibes of different people. Nowadays, we tend to take pictures in order to remember all that. The digital photos imply realism – you see the world as it is. But beauty is only skin deep. You are not able to see the metaphysics of the moment looking at the pictures.
In my watercolor paintings, I always give a sense of the current state of human souls, models’ doubts, anxieties, joy, and sorrow, what actually hides behind the smiles. In classic portraits, you can see the eyes of people. I set a more challenging goal as follows: not showing models’ eyes and faces, to depict the immediate emotional state, the current state of the model’s soul through the pose, chemistry between the photographer and the model.
Looking through my nude models’ paintings, you’ll find neither vulgarity, nor striking surrealism, nor vicious, vivid colors. Ancient Greek erotic art and sculptures have always been a major inspiration for me.
From the esthetic point of view, all my nude models’ artworks contain sexual energy – the one I always feel inside and invest in my paintings. My goal is to kindle sexual energy inside you and persuade you that light, love, and lust are the crucial drivers for people to move forward and get over difficulties. I’m sure that my paintings also cultivate a love for naked human bodies. And if you love naked people with all your heart, love sex, and love affairs, you’ll never do anything bad to people. You spread kindness, striving for love. Sexual female energy is healing for your soul.
Watercolor implies using a lot of water during the drawing process. Water keeps vibes and feelings. Watercolor artworks are light and breathing, the very opposite to heavy and airless oil paintings.
