The journey of Fine Artist Inaam Obaidi Onsi (born in Baghdad in 1954) with brushes and colours cannot be summed up in a simple process of translating her ideas into portraits and nature paintings. It can rather be described as a safe haven which allowed her to remain the passionate lady and the affectionate mother she has always been in the midst of the Lebanese civil war.

Having arrived to Beirut in 1976, her hidden talent put her on the path of drawing. She honed that skill by enrolling in training programs at private universities and institutes. She interpreted her emotions into portraits then into nature paintings that were applauded by art connoisseurs.

Onsi seeks to offer her public artworks which reflect Arab women and their daily lives, their passions, their duties, their surroundings and the everyday the challenges they face.
