Though primary concerned with painting, Hiroko has always cultivated a passion for printmaking. After becoming aware of the great Japanese artist Yoko Yamamoto she decided to open the doors to a new adventure.
Hiroko writes " Engraving on a copper plate makes you nervous during each technical process and I don't know what state I find myself when I work. I felt disappointed for a long time and how it failed, despite having always continued to work for many years. I hava always wanted to challenge everything for the great desire to continue working without ever giving up"
