Hikaru Me is a self-taught professional photographer who likes to look without perceiving, observing without knowing what matter has to offer remains our daily life. Colors are everywhere, just reveal them. Dark, luminous, radiant, in the making, rich, surprising, offbeat or astounding, it opens up in depth, letting a hitherto invisible light emerge.
Particularly addressing the themes of nature, his work highlights the details of plants, cacti, tree bark... present in our environment. To be surprised by a familiar form, by multiple colors of oxidation and lights emerging from a rust patch, a shale, a stream or an old wooden door remains for him a permanent satisfaction. Inert or whatever, matter becomes color. The pangs of time, the crowding of footsteps, the friction, the sun, the rain have all left a bit of themselves in forging these colors.
