Helene Auguy is a contemporary award-winning French sculptor. At the border between figurative and abstraction, the sculptures of Helene Auguy have a symbolic resonance underpinned by psychoanalytic concepts. The articulation of the volumes reconciles strength and delicacy, emotion and rigor. Sensitive power in a contemporary aesthetic, her works are oriented by rhythmicity. Taken in a process of experimentation that she continues to deepen, Auguy offers an artistic look at psychic functioning through various themes such as "Body and instruments", "Maternity and filiation".
More recently, her sculptures testify to a more assertive cohabitation between sculpture and architecture with "psychic architecture and architectural construction".
