Biographical Statement

Since child hood Harold Bishop believed that he can walk to happiness, while only using his hands and the tool that is set in front of him. His creativity and passion for what he observes and does is amazing. When he walks done the streets of Detroit he is inspired by the respect that he gives to the people. He is a person that is committed and dedicated to becoming a great young fine artist like Kehinde Wiley.


Artist Statement

I am a very creative person that looks at the world in a different way. While I walk down the street I see a lot of things that others cannot. When I see things that inspire me I have to wright it down, as fast as possible. I continue walking while smiling inside until I get my house and begin.

I begin each work of art with a quick sketch, in my sketchbook. After the sketch I begin lightly drawing in graphite on the surface. Then depending on the medium, I begin.
