Painting: Oil on unprimed cotton canvas, stratched and ready to hang.
Canvas: Self-made canvas, dense and thick raw canvas, because it is stretched on a loom and then "glued" with gelatin. The canvas has a natural color of raw cotton (ecru)
Idea:
The work from the "Landscapes I" series is at the intersection of landscape and abstraction. In my painting world, I want the planes, colors and structures of the landscape to intersect, overlap, piled up and ultimately create an impression of visual distance with which we can identify.
I like to apply the principle of intersecting the image, giving the impression of a wandering horizon.

Hanna Banaszczyk is a graduate of the Faculty of Painting and Drawing at the University of Arts in Poznań (2017). She is an experienced artist living in Poland, whose paintings have been presented at individual and collective exhibitions in the country. Her works are in many private international collections. She defines her minimalist abstractions as expressing the fragile matter of nature from a metaphysical point of view, focusing attention on the fact of passing, the changing nature of things.
Hanna Banaszczyk mainly presents oil cycles on canvas, oils on paper and in mixed techniques. These works are filled with her favorite subjects - landscape painting and abstraction, in chromatic ranges evoking the sea breeze, moving clouds, fog, elements of architecture, disappearing horizons. Her works are distinguished by a precise composition, a play on the lines: vertical and horizontal, juxtaposed with a free gesture, a trace of a brush. The almost hypnotic multiplication of motifs plunges us into the dreamlike world of the artist, frozen in the icy air, but still radiating life.
