Günay Aral was born in Istanbul in 1954. He studied folk dance and drama, and taught at some private institutions. During his student years, he developed his current style by doing form and color quest studies in various workshops. Continuing his studies in London and Paris, where he lived for a while, Aral later returned to Turkey and established his own workshop.
In his paintings, he uses his passion for colors as freely as possible, the lines dominated by contrasting colors and the dynamism of the colors draw attention. continues in its own workshop
