Watercolour painting of Teddy Bear Truffle McFurry and Scottish sheep Mary performing flamenco dance in front of a group of gipsies in Andalusia in Spain.

Truffle tells the story:

Dancing Flamenco

In our street there is a big family of gipsies living there. Well, they don't live there really, they just have a house here and come and stay some days from time to time. They are a family of flamenco musicians, real professionals. And always when they come, every evening they bring chairs outside and sit in a circle in front of their house, on a public parking, and start playing guitar and singing flamenco.

There is especially a little boy, who plays guitar like a God. The other night Mary and me went closer to listen. The people invited us to join their circle, and the music and the singing were so beautiful that Mary and me started dancing! They showed us the basic flamenco steps, and we learned it fast.

Especially Mary went for it, she was in fire! She was wonderful, the real thing! She probably thought of her girlfriend Woolhelmina, the hitch-hiking musician sheep from Scotland who wanted to learn flamenco...

We got many compliments and got even some coins from people passing buy. We put them in my piggy bank! It's a beautiful piggy bank, I'll show you soon.

It was an incredibly exciting and romantic night, especially with all these stars falling from the sky...

Love you all

xx

Miki De Goodaboom is a contemporary French artist. For Miki, painting serves as a reflective canvas, mirroring the perpetual ebb and flow of her existence - a dance between light and shadow, lines and shapes, times and places. In her art, she ceaselessly seeks equilibrium, a delicate balance found only in continuous movement, in the enigmatic realms of the mysterious and the unknown. Her life unfolds as a narrative woven between two profound passions: mathematics and painting. The former, a supreme form of abstract art, governs her universe, dictating the rules of her cosmic journey. The latter emerges as a means of crystallizing the beauty inherent in that mathematical art, capturing its essence on the canvas of her imagination.

Miki De Goodaboom's art transcends geographical boundaries, and her paintings serve as universal expressions that resonate with viewers worldwide. Her unique ability to encapsulate the essence of her passions within her art makes each piece a testament to the intricate tapestry of her life - a life painted with strokes of creativity, mathematical precision, and an unwavering commitment to capturing the profound beauty found in the harmonious interplay of shapes and colors. Her works, a manifestation of her vibrant life, have found eager audiences and appreciative buyers across the world.
