La rue de la Huchette est un haut-lieu du jazz à Paris.
La blue note, quant à elle, est LA note caractéristique du blues et du jazz (l'abaissement des 3ème, 5ème et 7ème degré de la gamme majeure).
La blue note, c'est aussi l'espace de cette terrasse de café où tout est étonnamment et intensément bleu, quelques jours seulement dans l'année : les meubles, les verres, les gens assis.
La raison: une marquise de verre bleu « sous le soleil exactement »...
En cours de réalisation est intervenue cette idée inspirée de la célèbre toile des « Menines » de Vélasquez dans le miroir du fond, et dans une attitude que je n'ai, volontairement, pas inversée, de celui peignant la rue...
