Giancarlo Biscardi, an artist photographer, lives and works in Palermo, his hometown where he was born in 1963.
From an early age, he was passionate about photography and practiced this profession in various contexts. In 1988, he obtained a degree in Modern Letters with a thesis on photography.
He collaborated with Laura Ronchi and Tips Images agencies in Milan and published in the magazine "Gente di Fotografia".
Giancarlo Biscardi has exhibited at the "Il laboratorio d'if" gallery, directed by Letizia Battaglia, as well as at the "Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa" of the municipality of Palermo, at the "Lanterna Magica" gallery, directed by Vincenzo Mirisola, and at the Mondadori Multicenter in Palermo.
He also ensured the Italian translation of "Entre Vues" for the photographer Frank Horvat.
In recent years, Giancarlo Biscardi has devoted himself mainly to still life photography, exploring this universe with talent and creativity. His artistic work reflects his passion for photography and his attention to detail, capturing beauty and aesthetics in elegant and carefully arranged compositions.
