Fredy Rodriguez Oliver is a contemporary Cuban painter. In his artworks he is trying to link art with social networks, influencers with classics, football games with existential crisis. Picasso is contextualized and brought to the modernity of our days; the halls of the MOMA museum are empty in the midst of a pandemic and the characters from Matisse’s “Dance” in the solitude of the museum dance in the halls. The passion and sincerity of his work leave an unforgettable impression.
Fredy Rodriguez Oliver was born in 1962, in Havana, Cuba. His works are in private collections in Cuba, Mexico, United States, Spain, France and Italy. He lives and works in the USA.
