Un des premiers tableaux de ma collection Regards.
Peut être réalisé dans une autre couleur.
Après avoir travaillé 10 ans en Angleterre pour un magazine britannique culturel en qualité de chef de publicité, j’ai décidé de rentrer en France pour des raisons personnelles et de m’orienter vers ma passion: la peinture.
Depuis des années j avais envie de peindre un zèbre bleu et je ne savais pas pourquoi !
Jusqu'au moment où les médias ont bcp parlé de l'organisation de la Cop 21.
La pollution , l'avenir de la planète, le réchauffement climatique, l'atteinte à la biodiversité, , la disparition de bcp d'espèces animales.
Ces sujets importants pour l'avenir de nos enfants ont été, pour moi, sources d'inspirations.
Mon zèbre bleu était au cœur de cette inspiration.
Son regard devait nous alerter et nous interroger.
J'ai alors imaginé dessiner sa pupille en forme du continent africain, là ou il naît, vit et meurt. Et tenter de rendre ce regard puissant et interrogateur.
Puis naturellement, l'idée de faire d'autres animaux s'est imposé.
