Diplômée de l’école Boulle, Florence Pinel a suivi des études supérieures en arts plastiques avant de s’orienter vers l’ébénisterie. Son parcours professionnel est riche et diversifié, toujours axé vers la création. Elle a commencé comme illustratrice indépendante, puis a été encadreuse d’art. Depuis 2010, elle se consacre entièrement à la peinture. Créer est avant tout pour elle un formidable moyen d’échange qui lui permet d’entrer en communication avec l’autre, là où parfois les mots n’existent plus.
La peinture de Florence Pinel est colorée et dynamique. Sa touche, libre, nerveuse et expressive. L’artiste aime peindre de grands formats, qui témoignent de son désir de liberté et de son énergie vitale. Florence Pinel trouve ses sources d’inspiration dans son univers quotidien : elle peint la nature, beaucoup ses proches, et surtout les enfants. « Les enfants sont la part la plus juste qui est en nous, dit-elle dans une interview. Ils ont en eux toutes les possibilités, toutes les chances, toutes les hypothèses. Il y a le rêve en eux. Quand tu t’approches le plus de ton enfance, tu t’approches du vrai. C’est à ce moment précis que tu es, que tu redeviens un bel être humain. »
