This picture is dedicated to the history of art itself, its origin on earth. Those few traces of some of the most ancient rock paintings that have been discovered and preserved are located in my homeland in Kazakhstan. The drawings and symbols in this painting are taken from the historical object Petroglyphs of the archaeological landscape of Tamgaly which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. It represents several thousand rock paintings, located in the Tamgaly tract.

That ancient art without paint, scratched on the rocks, still has a lot of charm. Everything is simple and understandable, but has bizarre, but streamlined shapes. Art even at that time was already art, it had its own style, plot, aesthetics and charm. All this inspired to create a modern three-dimensional interpretation of that well-known prehistoric art.

The sides are painted in relevant colour, so there is no need for an additional frame.

Feruza Turlybek, a contemporary Kazakh painter, draws inspiration from life itself, with a particular focus on people and their emotions. She has a profound affinity for painting portraits, viewing each person through a unique lens of colors that she perceives. Turlybek does not confine herself to a specific color palette; instead, she chooses colors based on the individual's character and the narrative that unfolds in the hues she envisions.

Ideas for Turlybek's paintings materialize daily, each stemming from recurrent thoughts, recent interests, and the beauty she finds in them. The artist amalgamates these inspirations to craft the intricate plots that define her paintings. In her artistic practice, Turlybek employs acrylic and oil paints, along with a fondness for texture paste and gold leaf.

Through her art, Turlybek shares her emotions, experiences, and current thoughts, aiming to connect with the viewer on a profound level. She seeks to convey the message that individuals are not alone in their journeys and endeavors to provide the motivation and energy needed to move forward. Turlybek believes that even in life's most challenging moments, there is an opportunity to discover something positive and beneficial, serving as a tool for achieving happiness.

Turlybek's work has found a home in private collections, with 58 of her portraits currently residing in collections both in Kazakhstan and abroad. Her artistic journey continues to evolve, resonating with audiences globally and contributing to the rich tapestry of contemporary Kazakh art.
