Fatima Erkenova
My artistic approach is to show in my creativity the connection of worlds through balance (equality, justice) and freedom. My work is not only painting, it is a complex pattern of life through many identifications and values. I am a writer, pHD doctor philosophy, master of psychology, gestalt therapist, 4th dan karate kekushinkai sensei. I strive to experience freedom of expression, speech, movement and choice. The greater the pressure, the greater the value of creativity for me. Equality, balance and justice are manifested through my national identities: Karachay, Kuban Cossack, Turkish Armenian, in which there are no major and minor ones, just like in my professional and other identities. All these are not different parts of me, everything is one and manifests itself in my work and life: karate, psychology, painting, literature, music, spiritual and material, physical and subtle, abstract and figurative.

Artist Value, Biography, Artist's studio:
Echoes of Stillness • 2 artworks
View allBorn in Yakutia, a vast northern region known for its raw and untouched nature, the artist draws on personal memory rather than topography. These are not maps of place, but emotional geographies — images shaped as much by atmosphere and longing as by land.
Minimalism here is not emptiness but essential presence. The mountain becomes not just a subject, but a symbol of quiet resilience, of internal depth, of home — imagined and remembered.
Woman in Action • 5 artworks
View allEach work presents a woman engaged in a specific gesture or state — not as a subject of observation, but as a carrier of meaning: a karate practitioner in mid-kata, a masked doctor, a woman seen from behind, walking away. These are not portraits in the traditional sense — they are embodied statements, where movement, posture, or gaze becomes a metaphor for a lived path.
The series explores invisible tensions and hidden effort — the subtle balance between strength and vulnerability, discipline and care.
These are not heroines, nor are they illustrations of “the feminine.” Rather, each figure is a moment of personal and existential decision: to stay, to leave, to protect, to resist.
Every composition fuses inner and outer realities — where biology, psychology, culture, and gesture converge in a single point: the moment of conscious presence.
Other Worlds • 11 artworks
View allEach piece in the series portrays the interplay between reality and fantasy, chaos and harmony, reason and emotion. Fantastical imagery—such as flying eyes, unusual houses perched on tree branches, or surreal landscapes—becomes a symbol of how our inner world, often undervalued by contemporary society, deserves greater attention and reflection.
This series is a reminder that in a world driven by rapid events, societal expectations, and external achievements, the immeasurable value of feelings and emotions is too often overlooked. External events are merely the surface; the true meaning lies in how we experience and interpret them.

Inner liberation, grounding in the present moment • 9 artworks
View allBrushstrokes, palette knife textures, and rich layers of paint convey inner energy and movement. These works are inspired by the idea that returning to the state of **“I am,”** becoming aware of the rhythm of one’s breath, and staying present can bring peace and salvation.
The paintings delve into the depths of the human soul, revealing its bond with nature and embodying the notion: **“I don’t have life; I am life.”** Temporary manifestations of reality, like a dream, dissolve, leaving an enduring sense of tranquility and harmony.
**Key Themes of the Collection**:
- Mindful presence and grounding in the now.
- Nature’s symbolism as a source of harmony.
- Soft, muted colors that create a calming atmosphere.

Happy Easter!
Happy Easter!
Dear friends, colleagues, artists, and art lovers,
I warmly congratulate you on Easter — a celebration of light, hope, renewal, and life.
On this day, filled with the symbolism of resurrection and awakening, we are especially drawn to speak of beauty, depth, and meaning — of all that connects us to tradition, to nature, to ourselves, and to the world.
May each of your days hold space for light and stillness, and may art continue to inspire, cleanse, and revive, just like spring itself.
May your work bring you joy, your gaze remain clear, and your inner voice stay free.
Wishing you peace, creative energy, and faith in the power of beauty — both on great canvases and in life’s simplest moments.
Wishing you a bright and inspired Easter!

Exciting News: "Surreal Tree of Dreams" Takes the Lead!
Hooray! I’m thrilled to share that my painting, Surreal Tree of Dreams, is leading the way in views on my online gallery. This piece holds a special place in my heart, as it marked the beginning of my latest series, Other Worlds.
This series is an exploration of imagination and possibility, a celebration of freedom and the boundless creativity that art allows. While I hold love and pride for all of my works, Other Worlds resonates deeply with me right now. It embodies a sense of liberation—a journey beyond the ordinary into realms where the only limits are those we impose on ourselves.
I hope that Surreal Tree of Dreams and the rest of this series can offer viewers the same sense of escape and inspiration that it has given me. It’s about stepping into the unknown, finding beauty in the unfamiliar, and allowing our minds to wander freely.
Thank you to everyone who has explored and appreciated this piece so far. Your support fuels my creativity and motivates me to keep sharing these glimpses into Other Worlds. If you haven’t yet, take a look and let yourself be transported to a place where dreams and freedom intertwine.
Exhibition Southwark Park Galleries
Southwark Park Galleries // Lake Gallery, Park Approach, Саутварк Парк, Лондон, Великобритания
I'm delighted to be part of my first UK exhibition, running from November 2 to December 14. This event marks a significant milestone for me, as it’s the first time my artwork is available for sale in the UK. I am exhibiting two pieces—one created in oil and the other in acrylic—each reflecting my journey as an artist and my passion for expressive detail.
Attending the opening was an inspiring experience. I was touched by the enthusiasm and curiosity of the visitors who engaged with my work, asking questions and sharing their impressions. Being able to share the stories and emotions behind each piece with such a receptive audience was incredibly rewarding.
This exhibition is a unique opportunity not only to showcase my art but also to build meaningful connections with viewers and collectors in a new cultural setting. It’s a privilege to share my vision, and I am excited to see how my work resonates with those who visit.
