“Born Alone” is a digital artwork that combines subdued realism with conceptual depth. The image presents the west coast of Britain as seen from behind the confines of a window—a deliberate compositional strategy that places the viewer in a state of observation rather than immersion.

The muted beige and blue palette reflects emotional distance and internal quietude, rather than idyllic coastal beauty. The sea, hills, and sand—rendered in soft, almost faded tones—are intentionally stripped of narrative or action. The window, while transparent, is unyielding: it divides the subject from the world it contemplates.

This work confronts the paradox of solitude—that the individual is not merely born alone, but also remains confined by solitude, often reinforcing it through structures of their own making: intellectual detachment, emotional withdrawal, or a longing that becomes architecture.

Rather than glorifying loneliness, the piece questions how often we perceive isolation not as an external condition, but as a repeated choice. The subject—absent but implied—faces the world passively, through the geometry of the window frame, never quite stepping beyond it.

This piece engages those interested in art as inquiry: as a visual form of existential critique.

My artistic approach is to show in my creativity the connection of worlds through balance (equality, justice) and freedom. My work is not only painting, it is a complex pattern of life through many identifications and values. I am a writer, pHD doctor  philosophy, master of psychology, gestalt therapist, 4th dan karate kekushinkai sensei. I strive to experience freedom of expression, speech, movement and choice. The greater the pressure, the greater the value of creativity for me. Equality, balance and justice are manifested through my national identities: Karachay, Kuban Cossack, Turkish Armenian, in which there are no major and minor ones, just like in my professional and other identities. All these are not different parts of me, everything is one and manifests itself in my work and life: karate, psychology, painting, literature, music, spiritual and material, physical and subtle, abstract and figurative.
