This oil painting depicts the Siberian squill—a delicate spring flower held in a fragile glass vase. With its slender stems and blue petals, the squill symbolizes both the fleeting nature of life and its remarkable resilience. The inspiration for this piece came from my visits to forests, where, in spring, nature comes to life, and fields of blue squill astonish with their beauty and freshness. In that moment, I realized I wanted to capture this scene on canvas, to remind myself and the viewer of the brief joy that nature brings.

The painting emerged gradually, beginning with a study of the flower's form and the transparency of the glass. A particular challenge was conveying the lightness and fragility of the flower, especially in contrast with the clear edges of the glass vase. Using several shades of blue and thin layers of oil, I aimed to create the illusion of light filtering through the petals and reflecting in the glass.

An interesting fact: despite its delicate appearance, the squill is a resilient flower, capable of growing even in harsh conditions. This especially impressed and inspired me; even in a cold climate, it symbolizes the arrival of warmth and new life.

My artistic approach is to show in my creativity the connection of worlds through balance (equality, justice) and freedom. My work is not only painting, it is a complex pattern of life through many identifications and values. I am a writer, pHD doctor  philosophy, master of psychology, gestalt therapist, 4th dan karate kekushinkai sensei. I strive to experience freedom of expression, speech, movement and choice. The greater the pressure, the greater the value of creativity for me. Equality, balance and justice are manifested through my national identities: Karachay, Kuban Cossack, Turkish Armenian, in which there are no major and minor ones, just like in my professional and other identities. All these are not different parts of me, everything is one and manifests itself in my work and life: karate, psychology, painting, literature, music, spiritual and material, physical and subtle, abstract and figurative.
