Fabrizio Avena is a contemporary Italian painter and photographer. Avena creates artworks which surprise by their depth and their subtlety. Addressing particularly the themes of the portrait in painting and landscape, life and cityscape in photography, his work is distinguished by a new and visionary lighting.
Fabrizio Avena was born in 1965, in Palermo, Italy. In 1989 he began exhibiting his works in numerous events and participated in national and international competitions. In 1992 he founded, together with a group of friends, the Documenta Duemila Cultural Association in Palermo. Since 2010 he has been a member of the "Fine Arts Society of Verona".
