Evelyne Monier
I've collected for years, alguees that I put in a wooden press, small stones, sea shells, the pinky ones some 25 years ago. Then this year it appears to me as a sea watch. I even a twelve o'clock lobster... I used to fish lobsters with my father in the eighties, teached by an old "rétais" called Victor Turbé from the village of La Couarde.
Using strong glue and waterproofing Caparol, and white wash.
Biodiversity is seriously dammaged around La Rochelle. My gran children, and gran gran children what ocean's flora and wildlife were like. This is my personal COP 21. There will be a better photo for 2016

View allThe light there is so clear, the shadows so impressive, I will try all my life to translate the "rhétaises" landscape , the serenity of the greens ans the blues.
In love with nature, old houses and édifices, with forest, trees, flowers, I"m painting with a great pleasure watching carefully, the beautiful creation of our earth, meditating too in front of its beauties..

St Martin de RÉ
Water colours, my first technic, drawing with ink and then colored with water colours.
This isle is so beautiful, the light so extreme, the colours so enlighted, that I tried for long years to illustrate this place.
I dream about very watered lavis, nearly hard to perceive, but I'm drawing with a strong reveal of details which structures, help, instead.
Van Gogh said that " painting is harder than passing through a steel wall..."

Many Arts works, paintings exhibitions, concerts, but especially Workshops, Animations, differents welcomings
in such a different place.
Arthérapy
I'll say that my main philosophy is to believe in " artherapy" for everybody including me.
After a long contemplation, and autodidact works, I become more and more symbolic and practical.
My paints and arts are involved in nature, in the symbolic of " Mother Earth", "Global Warming",
but using cardboard, sands, wood, leaves, natural materials, is a ternary work, especially in workshops, animations, with people.
Sands and Greens
Nobody learned me to use cardboard, before I made my first frame.
This is more the graal of using a recycled natural material which comes from wood.
Then the trip in mind to make everything in cardboard came and will never disapear.
This is a huge free land, meanwhile we're so many to use cardboard, from Japon to Canada.
My paintings take the same way, using natural stuffs, like sand and vegetals.
