Hello, I'm Esen, I'm an artist living in Turkey. I was born and raised in Turkey. When I was a child, like every other girl, I dreamed of drawing models and dresses. Now I wonder if I knew then that I would love painting so much. My childhood under difficult conditions caused me to move away from painting. I hid my childhood and dreams in closets for many years. After working as a reporter for a newspaper for a few years, I started looking for something different. I realized that I wanted to do something better for my soul. Something was missing and I had to complete it. I realized that what was freer, more maverick, maybe what was good for my soul was painting and that I had been crushing it since my childhood for a career in other worlds. I started with charcoal drawings and struggled to get my talent out of the closet where I hid it. It took some time to know and accept that you don't have to give it up anymore, to go back to what you had to give up. I am an artist in the process of being born from my towers like a phoenix. I have been in painting for a few years but I was always there, always hiding. And now I am here with the rebellion of that child inside me.
