Original Artwork refers to any work that is considered authentic and not a copy or imitation of the original works of an artist. Original artwork can be any type of painting, sculpture, performance, or other media. There are many types of original media. Mixed media includes oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings. For workshop paintings that bear evidence of master craftsmanship, this attribution must be further qualified. While they may be less valuable for different reasons, reproductions and copies have had a tremendous impact on our experience. They reach a greater audience than originals and act as a tonic against commodification. Original Artwork could also refer to the first work, which is always preceding all others. It could also refer to a prototype or a model from which other works can be made. Each work bears great similarities to the original.

Xènia de Armengol, 1981 Barcelona.
Nació en una familia bastante artistica, rodeada de musicos, pintores y escritores. Sus primeros pasos en el mundo del lienzo los inicia con su abuelo, el Pintor J. Rosich Rojas, quién le enseña las bases de la pintura y el color. Al terminar los estudios decide encaminarse en el mundo de la ilustración, cursando Artes Gráficas en la escuela Joso de Barcelona.

Se inicia trabajando en un taller realizando cuadros de decoración. Compagina las horas libres haciendo caricaturas por encargo y diseñando camisetas.

En 2008 se encamina a la Ilustración Publicitaria para un estudio de diseño de Madrid y se presenta por primera vez al concurso de ilustración infantil de Bologna.

En 2011 participó con una serie de ilustraciones en colaboracion con la "Assocaiació de Relataires en Català" para la Marató de TV3, dedicado a la regeneración y transplante de Órganos y Tejidos, finalizando la campaña con un libro "Poemes per a la Marató". Los beneficios de su venta se destinaron a la Maratón de la Pobreza que promovió TV3 en mayo de 2012.
El proyecto fue impulsado por La Comarcal Edicions y la ARC.

A lo largo de su carrera artística ha realizado diferentes exposiciones individuales y colectivas por diferentes salas de Barcelona y alrededores.

Este año.-
Enero de 2013 exposición "Dones" bajo el proyecto del grupo UterArt.
Octubre de 2013 exposición "Emociones" a cargo del grupo Nakadaska.
Marzo de 2014 exposición "Agní" con el grupo UterArt.
Junio 2014 exposición permanente en el "Bar - Restaurant Mar i Murtra", Sant Cugat del Vallès
