If you saw Atlas who holds the world on his shoulders, if you saw that he stood, blood running down his chest, his knees buckling, his arms trembling but still trying to hold the world aloft with the last of his strength, and the greater his effort the heavier the world bore down upon his shoulders. If you saw Atlas who holds the world on his shoulders, if you saw that he stood, blood running down his chest, his knees buckling, his arms trembling but still trying to hold the world aloft with the last of his strength, and the greater his effort the heavier the world bore down upon his shoulders. But a woman holds the world with love and affection in her womb standing tall and strong. The world she desires has already been won. It exists.. it is real.. it is possible.. it is hers.

Mothers are equal – no matter where they come from or what creed they follow.

Birth is the sudden opening of a window, through which you look out upon a stupendous prospect. For what has happened? A miracle. You have exchanged nothing for the possibility of everything.
– William Macneile Dixon

An engineer by profession, with a PhD in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University, Moumita has worked in the industry and academia for twenty years. After arriving in Europe, she decided to express her ideas through the strokes of brush and paints. What was a passion for painting, transformed into a full-time engagement; and Moumita developed Mumuscape –--- a window to the world of her artistic expression.

She calls herself a modern existentialist artist; a painter who blends styles, with many shades of emotions and its plethora of colors. Her primary medium is acrylic.

She loves traveling to new places – the sources of her inspiration being the communities, she engages with.

Currently, Moumita lives in Brussels, with her husband and their son. They support her efforts, and are the first line of critical reviewers of her work.
