The art historian L. Bogdanova in studying the work of the great Ukrainian landscape painter pointed out:
«The master is not afraid of bright color overlaps. He is completely uninhibited. - Art historian L. Bogdanova notes. - And you enjoy the gold of nature's fading, the generosity of the autumn sun, so clearly underlined by the brightest splash of red set on the table. And trembling branches of blossoming crimson beneath the window palpably spill the honey aroma, so simply and intricately woven by the artist with white and gold coloring. Multicolor palette of wildflowers collected in a harmonious beautiful, pure melody, charming us with polyphony. An exquisite avenue of irises, a fabulous time of exuberant lilac blossoms, fluffy peonies, fruits, berries, vegetables - everything grows and lives in a blooming garden, asserting the creative and life credo of Mikhail Aleksandrovich Kokin - life is beautiful!.
The images created in his many works are as simple as truth and as wise as life».
